A.VE.NU.DE.JET.TE - INSTITUT DE CARTON vzw, an initiative launched by a few artists, aims at organising two or three times a year a special show in a privately owned house in Brussels. In 2012, we first showed black-outs by Willem Oorebeek. Till December 22nd, we have a group show inspired by Raymond Roussel’s novel Locus Solus. From February till June 2013, we will be showing photo works by Sarah Deraedt, Maartje Fliervoet and Katja Mater. And as of September 2013, the Dutch artist Jan Andriesse will be our guest of honour.
A.VE.NU.DE.JET.TE - INSTITUT DE CARTON vzw is een initiatief van een aantal kunstenaars die in een Brussels woonhuis twee à drie keer per jaar een bijzondere presentatie verzorgen. Tot 22 december 2012 loopt de groepstentoonstelling Locus Solus Domesticus naar aanleiding van het boek Locus Solus van Raymond Roussel. Vanaf februari 2013 tot aan de zomer staat een tentoonstelling gepland van drie fotografen : Sara Deraedt, Maartje Fliervoet en Katja Mater. Voor het najaar van 2013 is de in Amsterdam wonende kunstenaar Jan Andriesse uitgenodigd om een solotentoonstelling te maken in het Institut de Carton.
A.VE.NU.DE.JET.TE - INSTITUT DE CARTON vzw est une initiative de quelques artistes qui, deux ou trois fois par an, organisent une présentation spéciale dans une maison privée à Bruxelles. Les premiers mois de 2012 il y a eu une exposition de Willem Oorebeek. Jusqu’au 22 décembre l’expo de groupe Locus Solus Domesticus, inspirée du roman Locus Solus de Raymond Roussel, englobe tout l’espace. De février à juin 2013, les photographes Sara Deraedt, Maartje Fliervoet et Katja Mater montreront leurs oeuvres. A partir de septembre 2013, l’artiste néerlandais Jan Andriesse aura une exposition solo dans l’Institut de Carton.
